The Idea

The CoSy Festival is an art and music festival at Dornburg Castle near Magdeburg. CoSy is an acronym for "Contrasts in Symbiosis" and aims to merge contemporary music with modern art and culture in a historic building.

Professional and up-and-coming artists will be given the opportunity to present their music on several stages in the castle and its park. In addition, the castle is transformed into a massive art exhibition, where modern art spans hundreds of square meters, inviting visitors to explore it.

In cooperation with local and national associations and collectives, we want to highlight contrasts, be it a young cultural scene in an old cultural heritage, technological modernity with ecological sustainability or the tranquillity of the rural region with innovation from the pulsating city.

We want to show possibilities and ways in which these can be brought into symbiotic harmony.
